-The goal is to create a sustainable business plan by which we create provide a service of collecting used coffee grounds and using this waste to grow mushrooms, in controlled environment which provide consistent harvests, as well as providing product to allows consumers to grow their own mushrooms at home. We are using another industries waste to grow mushrooms, this is sustainable by definition however our goal is to be as sustainable as possible by adopting close loop systems which not only increase efficiency and reduce waste but maximize outputs as well. The idea is to create sustainable mindset by which people reconnect with the food they eat and how it is sourced and produced by helping them experience the magic of growing mushrooms. Locally sourced, locally grown and locally consumed leads to much more sustainable food industry by which we think globally but act locally.  +The goal is to design, develop and test device which enable process by which coffee waste is collected and used as a growing medium to produce oyster mushrooms. This will be based on primary and secondary market researchsustainability and ethical analysis.

-The project encompasses all aspects of the business: Analysis of existing solutions, project management, marketing plan, Eco-efficiency measure for maximized sustainability, ethical and deontological concerns and project development leading to a finalized conclusion. Extensive market research which is outlined in the report allowed a niche market to be found in which this business can thrive. Once the market was established various methods and techniques used with growing mushrooms were analysed and evaluated and even tested to figure out which best suited the needs of our market most effectively. A process along side equipment were developed, that allowed oyster mushrooms to be grown at home by your average consumer as well as on a slightly larger more industrial scalewhere mushrooms can be grown and sold to local restaurants. too be continued....(not done)  +
